UK autonomous technology specialists Aurrigo International has secured £1m of grants and support from The Connected and Automated Mobility (Cam) Pathfinder – Enhancements programme, and Innovate UK’s Launchpad programme, to accelerate sustainable airport and transport innovations.
The Pathfinder programme is funded by the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), a joint unit between the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Department for Transport (DfT), delivered in partnership with Innovate UK and Zenzic. The latter was created by government and industry to champion the UK Cam ecosystem and lead the UK in accelerating the self-driving revolution.
Intelligent transportation systems
The Coventry-based company’s work will span simulation, feasibility studies and real-world vehicle trials at East Midlands Airport, The Orkney Islands and the West Midlands.
